The Staff Selection Commission has released the CGL Tier 1 answer key on its official website, ssc.gov.in, for 13.5 lakh candidates.
This announcement follows the conclusion of the Tier-1 exam. The aspirants can download it using their credentials and raise challenges online with valid evidence. This provisional answer key will help the candidates track their performance ahead of their Tier I results.
13.5 lakhs candidates appeared for CGL Tier 1 2025 across 255 centers in 126 cities.

The SSC has provided a provisional challenge window for the candidates to contest the answers they believe are incorrect. This is an online process. The aspirants must follow the steps below-
Visit the official website ssc.gov.in
On the Home Page, visit the ‘Answer Key’Section
Log in using registration number and date of birth or password.
Choose the questions you wish to challenge from the provisional answer key
Provide valid documentary evidence or references to support the objection raised.
Submit the challenge and pay the fee of INR 50 per question.
Get the confirmation receipt online and save the same for future reference.
This facility is available only for a limited time. Candidates must ensure they submit their objections before the deadline.
The candidates must also note that the order of questions and options in the challenge module may differ from the exam. However, the answers the candidate has selected during the exam will appear correctly in the challenge module.
The release of the provisional answer key represents a key phase in the SSC CGL 2025 exam process. It gives candidates the transparency and opportunity to rectify any perceived errors.
The final results and cut-off will be published after all representations are adjudicated.
